Happy Valentine's Day

Video
Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day. It took several trys to get these two to get a semi good picture. You will see it was Dom who couldn't smile without closing his eyes. (the Christina problem!) Don't they look cute in red!

So excited to wish a Happy Valentine's Day.

Do they look happy?

Jonathan made and arranged these for me. They were very yummy!

Doing a "that's all" to all of you!

Flowers from Jonathan. My card (that was accompanied with dinner.) to him.

Visiting Family in Boston

Video
We got to visit family this last weekend. We met mom and dad at aunt Si's house, where her dog jumped at Dominic. We think that he felt threatened. Si, of course, loved little Taylor and ate her up. Then we all went to lunch at Joe's which was right on the harbor. Then off to see the Saracenis. It was such a wonderful visit and we enjoyed seeing everyone. Jonathan and I were talking about how we will miss going to Boston with mom and dad! Aunt Si and little Taylor.

Jonathan, back of Dominic's head, Taylor and Aunt Maria.

Orchard House

While in Concord I had to stop by Orchard House. This is where Louisa May Alcott wrote "Little Women". It was exactly what I had envisioned.
Me in front of the house.

We also went to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
This is the graves of all the Alcotts. (a family plot.)

The North Bridge

So, last Friday we went to Concord, MA and this was our first stop. It was pretty awe inspiring to be where the first steps were taken to fight for the freedoms we enjoy today! On April 19, 1775 this is were the Revolutionary War began.

Can you tell how cold they are? The temp. was in the single digits.

The Minute Man statue.
"By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to April's breeze unfurled;
Here once the embattled farmers stood;
And fired the shot heard round the world"
Ralph Waldo Emerson

It's beautiful, but very very cold! See the whole river iced over.

Jonathan and Dominic on the bridge.

Dominic in front of the Old Manse. ( A home where Emerson and Hawthorne lived.)

This is the monument stating what happened here.

Dominic's Party

Video
So Dominic wanted a "inja" turtle birthday party. It was fun for all and Dominic got way too many gifts! As you will see all the ninja turtles were there.
Leonardo (aka Birthday Boy) (aka Dominic)

He wanted to have two kinds of cake. Chocolate (easy for mommy) and green (didn't know that was a flavor). But a little food coloring and we had it.

Donatello (aka chubby girl) (aka Taylor)

Michelangelo (aka Daddy) (aka Jonathan)

Rafael (aka Grandma)

Another Michelangelo (aka Grandpa)

"Happy Birthday to DOM! " We had quite the harmony.

Another Rafael (aka Mommy) (aka Bethany)
