Mom and Spring

Mom came out for Anthony Fischer's baptism. (Dad had been here for work.) So we got to have her for a couple of hours before she had to leave that night. The kids really love playing with Grandpa and Grandma when they come out!

6th Anniversary

So it will be 6 years on Sunday. In some ways it has gone by so fast and other ways it seems longer. Thanks to T and the Dominguezes we (Jonathan and I) were able to go up to Fenway for a game last Friday. I had gotten tickets for a half Valentine's Day gift and half Anniversary gift. On our way to the game we stopped for lunch in Newport, RI and saw a mansion. We saw Marble house. The whole inside is made of marble. Crazy! Alva Vanderbilt built it from 1888 to 1892 for 11 million dollars. Can you imagine what it would be now? They used it for three summers. That's it. Rich people are crazy! But it was a beautiful day and the house was amazing. Then we went down to the docks and ate lunch. So much fun!
Off to Fenway. Boy that is an experience everyone should have! Whether you are a Red Sox fan or not. Walking in I got chills up my spine. I can't believe how many people they fit in that stadium. It's wall to wall people. The Fans are great. We saw David Ortiz hit a grand slam. I had a moment when it hit me that my dad and my grandfather had both been there and had happy moments there together. Very neat!

I'm grateful for my husband and all he does for me! It was good to spend time alone together. (knowing that that will happen less and less as we are expecting this baby soon.) I look forward to many more years of growth and fun! In the backyard of Marble house.

Easter

We had a great Easter. Baskets in the morning. Church was great. Then we had Cesar and Heather over for dinner. It was a great day! I put a bunch of the pictures I took of the kids on, because no one but a parent knows how many pictures it takes to get one good one! Happy Easter to all! Dom excited about 4 guy arm. Easter Hunts

Well this year we tried to do some egg hunting. Saturday the 15th M&M Mars had their annual easter egg hunt. Not so fun this year. You walk up and get a bag of candy. Then stand in line to see the Easter Bunny. That was it. No hunting on the lawn.

So I was talking to my friend Melanie and we decided to do a little hunt in her backyard for her son and my kids. It was fun! Dominic and Dallin have so much fun together, Taylor loves their kitty Ernie, Jonathan and I have fun talking with Tad and Melanie. Great day.

Dad and Mom visit and other fun happenings

Last week Dad and Mom were out in NJ for business. We got to have them over for dinner two nights. It was so fun. The kids were so excited and happy to have Bramma and Brampa here. And Jonathan and I had a great time talking and soaking up advice. So thanks Mom and Dad. Glad to have you back in the promise land even if it was for only a week.
