Mt. Tam

On Joseph Smith's birthday a group of us hiked Mt. Tamalpias. It was so fun! Jonathan was so kind to watch the kids so I could go. I haven't had time like this in so long. It was so clear from the top. As you will look at the pictures you will think we escaped to Maui, but no that is just wonderful California. After living here most of my life it still surprises me how beautiful and diverse California is.We took the cataract trail to the top of Mt. Tamalpias, which i had never done. Great hike, great company, great day! In front of some cataracts.

Nutcracker

At Dominic's school every year they put on the Nutcracker. Everyone is involved. It is so cute an a lot of fun! This year Dom was a ginger snap elf. They are the last number. He did a great job!

So in the video it took me a while to figure out where he was. He is on the inside in the front of the line going around Miss Sugar Plum. Then he is at the very end on the right side in the front for the rest. It's dark and I was trying to enjoy it as well as video. Maybe when we get the professional one we will post it.

Getting Tree and Decorating

This year we thought we would be on top of things and get the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. I would not advise this, by two weeks we had a crispy, smelly tree. I was so sad because we had found the perfect size and shape tree. Oh well, you live and learn. Next year back to procrastinating. At least it wont smell til after Christmas! But we did have fun picking and decorating. We found it.
